Before we examine your mouth, clean your teeth, or treat an oral health problem, we spend time getting to know you and learning about your medical and dental history, your oral health concerns, and the oral health goals you know you would like to achieve. We promise to fully inform you and enable you to make personal choices about the treatments we recommend. You will always feel in control.
When you are seated in the dental chair, we will spend time in conversation to help you relax. When a procedure is performed, you can take breaks by giving us the non-verbal signal we practice with you.
For anxious patients, Drs. Nilash and Nitash Patel offer oral conscious sedation. This is oral medication taken before the procedure that helps you relax. Although you become fully relaxed, you will be able to hear and respond to the dentist and dental assistant. This moderate sedative not only removes anxiety but also greatly reduces the gag reflex some patients experience. When combined with local dental anesthetics, patients feel no pain or fear.
We strive to make dentistry affordable for all our patients and work with them to maximize their dental benefits and come up with a payment plan that works for them.
